I haven't seen one republican on SI tell me why they're republicans. Their failure to defend their party is a fatal flaw in their belief system. Do they brag about decades of balanced budgets under their presidents? Nope. They know their party is filled with liars so they can't defend it. We can say we're proud we saved the US economy after it collapsed, regulated the banks after the collapse, insured 20 million Americans, removed most elderly from poverty with Social Security and Medicare etc. What do they have? They hate Democrats. That's all.
