I think the market is looking far more rational. Intel AMAT etc retrenching today after a run-up while second tier stocks which had not moved like Cymer are moving up a bit. I'll be 2/3 big caps and 1/3 small caps like Cymer.

Early October was crazy. I made 50% in Ballard Power in two weeks (a company with a story but no profits). Made me queasy and set stops on all positions and got sold out. I've watched a lot of turmoil since then mostly from the sidelines. But I'm feeling good enough about the market now to put even my custodial accounts back into equities.

The effect of Aisa shocks, and there will be more, appear to have less and less effect on US stock prices. A good sign.
