Sorry the call was conducted on a "call-out" basis. I do not know if the company has a replay of the call. Update? Just a few comments since no one else is posting anything - The following statements are not to be construed as a solicitation to purchase or sell securities. No particular order: 1) Tacker not finished - hurting end hernia sales. Kit needs to be completed. Continue to work with JNJ on a resolution to this issue. 2) No product annoucements on incontinence. Still must be several quarters away. 3) Orthopedics partner not signed yet, but discussions sound like they are on-going. Key indications in this area are spinal and long bone plating. With the heightened activity in the spinal cage market over the past three months talks must have been secondary. USS is big in spinal cage fusion - are they talking to those guys again? 4) Signed five more (10 total) distributors for SEPS et al. 5) Saphenous Vein harvesting kit will be handled worldwide on a country by country basis with separate distributors. Direct in the US. 6) In regards to the all important method of use patent - Goes to Arbitration in April. This is a biggie IMHO. Arbitration is good. Have not heard how binding the parties have made it. 6B) Additional lawsuit with regards to the Benutti (sp?) patent going to trial in April as well. (Just look at the SG&A and see how much they are spending on legal bills). Trail not arbitration - mmmmmmmmmm. All we need are twelve good men/women! 6C) Going after Guidant with an "inequitable conduct" complaint. This is a big stick - seeking to nullify GDT patent. Seeking summary judgement in February. {Summary judgements are difficult to get} This was a new one on me. 7) Saphenous vein harvest kit priced below Ethicon's current offering. Ethicon is the current leader. GSI's product allows hands free useage and a quicker dissection. Advantages yes - JNJ cannot use a balloon on their package either. Disadvantage - Ethicon salesforce. 8) Would think about cross licensing in the Technology Alliance Group? Was not elaborated on. That is all I care to write.
