I made an executive decision to investigate in person, so arrived in London this afternoon to get the lay of the land. I just love the good old A380.

<<
macro time

i suppose europe is and can easily veer into a crisis, and once so, go extreme QE as the authorities still have much authority, especially once the population screams and gathers

should such be, euro drop, $ ramps, and

then other crisis set off (EM debt), and

then ...

so on and so forth

derivatives blow up when counter-parties blow up, and and and

the suspense is palpable

Initial report from Londres aka Jihadistan aka Londonistan.

Looks okay and in fact pretty good. Aldi opened in Debden and it's great. This morning's shopping included luxuries like Made in Canada maple syrup, made in Spain rose vin de yum, little potatoes ready to made into Mq's patented roast spuds which are awesomely delicious though a bit time consuming to prepare, and shopping trolley full of other delectables and regular comestibles. Total cost about 63 quid = about NZ$120 which would buy a nominal amount of groceries.

Good old Sainsburys has a lot wider range but a lot higher prices. So Aldi has made life better. Interestingly, the staff like to moan about their jobs unlike at Sainsbury's, though our checkout operator was efficient and pleasant.

The Tube was as usual, the train swished along. Reglaciation has not set in though it's a bit cool today for my shorts and t shirt which pretend it's summer which it isn't. Reglaciation is coming into NZ in the deep south as Antarctic weather roars up.

Brexit will be great. The Euroserfs will still want to sell their stuff and will still want to see the Changing of the Guard and Oxford Street. Cutting the kleptocratic bureaucracy down to excessive instead of bloated. Stopping the flood of invaders would be a very good thing as the destructive dilution is rapid, though one could say replacing a bung Chav with a high end Hong Konger or Korean would be a good gain. Sub Saharan jihadists are not such a good trade.
