I thought you had a high opinion of the eSuite

My opinion has been drastically lowered and I have a theory about what's going on. The core product is solid as is the underlying infrastructure which provides communications between components and so forth. They clearly would have two or more groups working on this: systems and applications. Those responsible for the applications are probably warmed-over DOS hackers from Lotus and that's why they don't have simple functions such as background spelling checkers. They probably tossed a set of classes over the wall to the applications group which heretofore had never seen an object, nor a thread for that matter. That's my guess anyway, and they need to do something about that if it's true. Subjecting millions of users to the product of an earn-while-you-learn software development effort is not a viable option these days.
