Good points.. I'm more leaning towards a ZTE solution.. Demanding management be replaced.. Compliance "agents" put in place to protect US interests.. And a demand that a fine be paid, but also that Sinovel insures that US "parts" (in this case software) be used..

There are 8,000 Wind Turbines in China that are using stolen AMSC software.. That HAS to be rectified, which means a substantial revenue boost for AMSC..

But that said, even a $100-200 million damage payment by Sinovel to AMSC's coffers means this stock SHOULD at least see a 100-300% gain..

The 200 Month MA is around $20/share.. We may not see it at once (as the haggling continues), but I think we're going to see it.

True. I'm adding the tax arrow into a quiver of reasons that broadly point to a better value than that at which it's trading.

Thanks to the thoughts here, the quiver is filling up. :o)

Adding a buyout scenario to, which could cleanly end the legal dispute with a US FTC(?) approval, in consideration of a larger trade deal. Not the best for the company that is American Superconductor, but to level where this being elevated, possible.
