Jake, Im not sure if you understand float (or maybe I totally misunderstand it).. you stated "I think that those shares WERE in the float but they have been recently bought up cheap over the last few weeks"

From what I know, float is all shares not held by insiders. (or restricted shares as well which cant be sold until after a certain date) So even if its bought cheap or held by long term investors or even institutions its still in the float. From your quote maybe you think float is the shares actively traded?? Not sure what you mean by your statement.

If I conveyed this explanation wrong, someone correct me.
