I don't share your concerns that "Canadian aluminum poses a national security threat to the United States" - Völlig lächerlich. - You must be as insane as Donald Trump to believe that.

Even if, as you suggest, Trump's in a really deep-state of depression and paranoia hiding gold coins under his floorboards, anticipating a collapse in the Yuan, viewing Canada as a national security threat doesn't pass the smell test, not even for the criminally insane. No deep-state of psychosis explains that.

It's the sort of comment which leads normal people around you to give you pitying glances and suggest you call the suicide hotline.

Well, that is like saying that John Gotti got to be head of the Gambino crime family because he was smarter than Paul Castellano.

In my view the more likely explanation was extreme hubris, corruption, and incompetence on the part of the national Democratic Party.

There are many reasons why America got stuck with the trumpturd... One of which is our antiquated voting electoral college system in which Hillary won more than 3 million more votes than Trump.

The main reason is stupid voters. Many examples right here on SI. Look at how many idiots think that Bush & Cheney were behind 9/11 (wired the twin towers), how many idiots believed or still do the Obama birther nonsense, how many idiots have Hillary Derangement Syndrome... and now we have new conspiracies every day... the "deep state"

Trump and his crime family are the ultimate swamp and deep state

Trump definitely knows how to appeal to disgruntled white voters (aka racists) and so-called christian evangelicals (aka hypocrites and bigots)

Gee, wonder what has emboldened genuine Nazis to run for office... gee what could it be?... are white supremacists "smart"?
