Sorry, your conspiracy theory just doesn't hold up. As you note, he gets more money than that giving speeches. Why would he sell a pardon, with all of the potential political blow back, for similar money that doesn't even go to him? Now don't get me wrong, I was not happy with the pardon of Rich. Not because of some conspiracy theory, but because he didn't deserve a pardon. What he did were not minor things and he richly deserved his sentence. Now, talk about approval of bad behavior, that is projection on your part. You ignore all of the graft and corruption that surrounds Trump. You ignore his breaches of security to feed his ego, you ignore him crafting international policy around countries like China paying him or his family off. You ignore the millions of taxpayer money that gets funneled into his companies and benefits him personally. You ignore an awful lot. Just because he is your leader.
