As to Gowdy perhaps he drank some koolaid the others didn’t or just believes more in the FBI's righteousness than he should.

It's refreshing to hear him speak his mind after deciding to not run again. I always knew he was a lot smarter than the uber right wing goon he played for so long. Speaking of koolaid, he's free from drinking whatever most of the Republicans in Congress are drinking that has turned them into zombies for Chump.

The FBI briefed the Trump campaign about possible Russian infiltration. The campaign blew them off. It was sort of a no-brainer to not include them in the investigation. They acted like they were already compromised.

That doesn't mean that they were. They might have just been stupid. But that became a real possibility that they needed to investigate.
