It really depends. If it were to end after the initial round of tariffs, that likely wouldn't be too bad. The economy might not do as well as it was, but it probably wouldn't be a disaster.

However, Trump isn't wired that way. He is the type that to win, someone else has to lose. And, just as importantly, the other guy has to admit they lost, because gloating is a major part of winning.

Now, I could be wrong. In fact, I hope I am. But I am not optimistic.

Trade wars tend to be felt pretty quickly, as these things go.

Stimulus should be pumping the gas already - as the extra cash finds its way into the economy. Not sure how fast before the tariffs are felt, but the end result from them are likely not to be pretty. Trump is so mercurial he could end them tomorrow with some from the moon reason - but the longer they go on the more embittered trading partners become. Really really a dumb strategy.
