Julie's idea of pardoning himself would be an act of self impeachment:
Legally acceptance of a pardon is an admission of guilt.

So if President Treason pardoned himself, he'd be admitting guilt. And since a pardon doesn't prevent the House from impeaching him and the Senate from convicting him, how could they not ... when he had pleaded guilty?
