Well, their talking heads do it all the time. Often they feel they need to exaggerate to make their point. And that bleeds into outright fabricating things. Which is considered ok because it is to illustrate a point and not intended to be factual. Because it is so pervasive in their alternate media, they believe all media is that way. And so "facts" are just a matter of opinion.
