Now that I've read it a few times, if this holds up to scrutiny, it seems like Holy Grail technology; literally changes everything. If we could instantly phase it in, California would be close to a 100% carbon-free grid right now, without even having to add more generating facilities.

Could be a Nobel Prize, too.
