That's also what happened with me, I eventually lost all interest in breads, pasta, and rice... i do have potatoes on occasion but never with meat or any protein with it... I would have potatoes and a salad for dinner... when eaten without any meat or protein, the potato fully metabolizes with no negative side effects... this is not the case with bread, rice, or pasta...

2018-07-20 @ 227-pounds . . . for this past seven or so weeks I have been trying different things.

My weight has gone up and down during this time, but very manageable.
I am now settled in my life-eating-style.
I eat whatever I want here and there in small quantities and early in the day.
So I have English muffins (homemade bacon egg and cheese sandwiches) and matzos twice a week or so.
And popcorn once or twice a week.
I MOSTLY eat like I did when I lost a bunch, but mix in some of my joys like mentioned above.
The BIG difference I do now is "intermittent fast".
I do all of my eating between 10 am and 4 pm.
I have a big helping of meat before 4 pm and that keeps me feeling full the rest of the night.
Outside of those times I only have coffee and water .. and sometimes whiskey. ;-)
I also try to be more active .. walking hard and doing lots of yard work .. sweating a lot.
Anyway . . I'm going for another 10-pounds over the next month .. so I'll get strict now into my end of August birthday and early September physical.
