Did Patrick Cox steal your money and invest it in Nanoviricides?
Did I say (or even imply he did)? He told an ill-informed story. I'm sure he bought into NNVC as well. That's part of the reason he left that newsletter. So he ate his own dog food...had skin in the game. I've met him, and I bear him no ill will.
Take responsibility for your own actions, good and bad...No personal accountability or responsibility.
I acknowledged myself for being an idiot in not understanding the deal. It was my money, and I didn't do sufficient due diligence. I made a mistake and I am paying the consequences. But what...I can't tell people what happened? (Maybe some poor soul won't make the same mistakes I did in the future. Maybe even somebody on this board.)

Perhaps Diwan made a mistake by taking advantage of early investors (or maybe he did nothing of the sort). He's got his money, but his reputation has clearly been assailed and damaged, and if NNVC goes bankrupt or massively diluted with his hand at the controls, it may get worse. He owns that.
Disgusting.
I do think I understand why you find what I write disgusting, and it has little to do with me "blaming" Patrick Cox for my woes. It has everything to do with me unearthing perhaps unpleasant history on a story you still love. If it bothers you, you need to cop to your own issues, and stop blaming them on me.

The bottom line is:
  1. The current NNVC licensing deal is horrendously malodorous for NNVC shareholders.
  2. That can be fixed.
  3. Fixing it has the potential to help Diwan, TheraCour and NNVC shareholders. Not fixing it hurts all three of the aforementioned parties, IMO.
  4. Why should I not pursue that by shining light on the history of the situation?
