I have been long this stock for a long time and unfortunately need to continue to be long as I am unfortunately too stubborn to sell for such a substantial loss. I've thought about getting out many times, but I too have been suckered in by Joe and never seem to write him off 100%, which I should have. So I am truly torn here. As most of us have probably experienced holding a stock, then selling for a loss only to see it rebound after selling. I feel the same could happen here, as its been any day now for over 10 years. This could be the year I toss in the towel as I've had some good returns on several other stocks and it might be the time to financially make the move. Take the hit to offset my winners. I guess that will be my excuse to move on and whatever happens, happens. Here's my predicament. I know we all, whether professional or personal, investor or trader have our own methodology in determining when and if to get into or out of a stock. That said, whichever category you fall into........when looking at fundamentals vs technical analysis, I can't remember any other stock that has such a divergence. The technicals are awful. Yet the fundamentals, based on press releases and all of the CEO's hype and prognostics, and all the licensees having these huge opportunities, and all of the competitors losing money, are amazingly optimistic. But none of them come to fruition. There's always hints of victories and contracts, but in reality, nothing of substance ever happens. It seems the technicals and fundies are going in opposite directions. I understand they don't always mirror one another's performance short term. But long term, they typically will come together. I've never seen anything like this and I was hoping someone here could share an experience with another company that has demonstrated this same phenomenon. I'm curious to know what the end result was. How long can a company stay in business with such paltry revenues, hope, and promises?
