Hello, I am confused why you referenced Belleville, Illinois, as I'm not from there and cannot speak on behalf of its residents but your assumption is incorrect. Belleville Township went for Hillary by almost 10 points in 2016 and for St. Clair county by well over 5 points. Perhaps you should update your GPS info and maps? uselectionatlas.org How do YOU feel about Trump's negotiations with Prime Minister Justin "Little Potato" Trudeau on trade? I didn't follow much of G-7 meeting since they are meaningless junkets, imo. Perhaps Trudeau pulled a stunt to appeal to a base back home ahead of next year's election. His poll numbers are sinking, correct? The nature of Canadian-USA trade is so interwoven that not even Trump could screw it up for very long. I haven't updated my own GPS info, I forget what percentage of Canadians live within 50-100 miles of the USA border? It was 80% or greater last I heard, and then juxtapose that to the percentage of Americans living within 100 miles of the Canadian border to gauge who depends on whom more. That said I love Canada and enjoy visiting there often. Two things I will give PM Trudeau a great deal of credit and respect for at the G-7 meeting is that first and foremost he did not wear a classical First Nations outfit to an international powwow! The mind boggles at the outfit he might have chosen after that amazing Indian adventure he had with his family! Trudeau's cleverest stunt at the powwow and maybe ever wasn't his statement but instead the picture gift he gave to Trump of the grandfather's Yukon hotel/restaurant/brothel! HA! Respectfully yours
