As we have discussed many times, Obamacare has solidified public expectations of something more generous than the status quo ante. You know, the solution of this problem is political. If it were managerial and financial, you and I could sit down together and draft a solution to the problem. I've seen the tax legislation process up close and how that happens, but I have not see how a working health care system is developed from scratch. If in fact people want and expect more "generous" care than before, I think they're in for real disappointment because I absolutely don't see how that can happen as we watch Medicare collapse and SS collapse. I hope something emerges.
