Your ignorance is breathtaking. Democracy is all about cooperation. The opposite of that is called anarchy and you will not find any functional societies who operate as such. And the more cooperation like the Nordic countries or Canada the better the society.

And we did not defeat Hitler by ourselves you fool. Many countries were involved. The rest of the world saved our ass as much as we saved theirs.

You like to see the US as a bully because you , like Trump, like to pull other people down to build yourself up as you have accomplished so little in life as shown in your biography.

Cooperation is NOT the foundation of civilization. But I'm not going to argue the point. You might need to read some about how civilization evolved. Cooperation amongst separate interests was not one of the basic characteristics.
