I followed this story very closely and it was Trudeau who first blasted Trump.

Blasted?! I posted a clip of what Trudeau said and how he said earlier. It is in this clip from Morning Joe. So you won't have to actually search for it, here it is:

Morning Joe 6/11/18

Joe: Trump's attack on allies offers no strategic benefit
In a series of tweets, President Trump criticized Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's statement that the seven countries had come to a consensus on encouraging free and fair trade. Trump blasted Trudeau for being 'meek and mild.' The panel discusses. Duration: 17:53

msnbc.com

Everyone who has actually seen what Trudeau said and how he said it is flabbergasted by the silly retort of Trump's people ("a special place in hell"). It was not a "blasting". And besides, Trump keeps going back to one tariff out of many that exist, going both ways. Cherry picking is stupid. The US has a trade surplus with Canada. Plenty of people in both countries are going to be hurt if Trump keeps this goofy way of "negotiating" up.

You don't know what went on behind the scenes! And the US has already put tariffs on Canada. Maybe that was what Trudeau was addressing?

Trudeau is one of the best and most decent leaders in the world. Do you think Trudeau just pulled that out of his ass?

The entire G7 is upset with Trumps behavior.

He blamed Canada for things that were not true. He lied. Canada is not taking advantage of us.

Have you been following Trump closely as well. Have you noticed he lies a lot? Have you noticed he berates everyone including his own cabinet? Have you noticed he falsely accuses people of stuff all the time, including the FBI and our intelligence agencies.

When has Trump ever been the one in the right? He said :"I am greedy and I want to be greedy for you. Do you want him to be greedy for you? Because that is what he is doing with his attack on the G7 which is all lies.

He is an asshole 24/7.

You neglected to mention the inverse..

I followed this story very closely and it was Trudeau who first blasted Trump. Trump being Trump couldn't let it go especially since he was on his way to meet Kim Jung Un.

Unfortunately Trudeau felt he had to virtue signal to the world his criticisms of Trump instead of using quiet diplomacy. Hopefully this will all blow ove

Each of those statements, your statements, contains a negative value judgment, which reinforces what I posted, that the inverse was neglected. Each felt compelled to say something public and couldn't or didn't want to contain himself. The parallel is obvious.

...instead of using quiet diplomacy

So, I was curious as to why you singled out Trudeau to take issue, hence my comment. I'm even more curious now as in your response you have so clearly equated them. Care to enlighten? What am I missing?
