Hi Jane,
I don't think I am taking one Thess. scripture and building a doctrine if that is what you are saying. I have posted many times on the Rev. scriptures and how I see them fitting together. The issue is very diturbing for those who have their sites set on being "out of here" when the worst of the tribulation takes place. The word tribulation may not be mentioned again but the events being described are the tribulation being explained. I don't think the absence of the word itself has any significance. The saints themselves are mentioned several times after Rev. 7 as being present on earth which I have pointed out before.
The multitude of martyrs we see when the 5th seal is broken I think are the martyrs from all history who have been waiting. Rev.6:10 they ask how long before the Lord judges. verse 11 they are given at that time white robes and told "rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, should be completed also."
So there will be more martyrs after that. 144,000 sealed then Rev. 7:14 the multitude no one can count that came out of the great tribulation. Are these the rest of the martyrs referred to in Rev. 6:11? They have white robes also.

Someone explain to me how the saints can be here in Rev. 13:7-8, and 14:12 if the church is taken away in Rev. 7:1-2.

You brought up the Chernobyl reactor meltdown once because the translation is "wormwood". That is in Rev. 8:11 after the 7th seal is opened and the trumpets are being sounded. I think it must be something else or we would be already raptured if the pre-trib theory is correct!

Have a good one,

Bob
