My dad fought in Korea. So I tend to pay attention to it.

Right after the Wall came down in Berlin, I and my wife to be spent a few days there. The museums are amazing.

We stayed with some people her parents got to know when they ran a bed and breakfast in Cuxhaven. The father was fairly high up in the East German ministry of Science and Technology. East Germany had a lot of dealings with North Korea and so he spent a fair amount of time there. He had some great stories...

Anyway, one of the things he told us was that when you visited a North Korean home, they often would have a shrine to whatever Kim was in power at the time.

Now that is creepy. And it explains a lot of the stories you see about how the Leader has god-like powers.

Because he is considered a god.
