Yes posted on another thread about rumored SYK and BSX merger buyout. It actually could be a good thing long term. I think BSX was mentioned here years ago and was one I have owned in the past.

FWIW, my new medical device companies is IIN. It's much smaller and builds many of the components that go into these larger company devices. It's already a 2x bagger since I bought shares earlier this year.

I do think this is a space you want to have exposure as these products do generate good FCF. IIN also has a hearing aid product which will not need a prescription (once legislation is approved). It's similar to a bluetooth wireless earbud but targeted to the hearing impaired.

If/when a SYK/BSX merger gets done, maybe some of the products that do not fit in w/ the new focus of the business may get spun off and/or sold. Those division(s) may/could present some value opportunities for the new buyer.

I will be keeping an eye on that.
