The problem with batteries that contain KW hours of energy is that they are totally self contained bombs. A fuel tank can leak, but fire or explosion require a second ignition source. Any impedance failure in a KW battery leads to a cacade failure, a meltdown. Cell phones, laptops, mp3 players and ... all are micro versions. Or you could say tesla batteries are nuclear versions.

OK with your thinking. But do need to ask, how reporting the fact that people are dying in these serial Tesla blowups and crashes is "overblowing" the situation?? We know MSM is liberal/left and has been neutral to supportive of Elon Musk, over the years. But at some point, they have no choice but to report negative news as serious as this.

Try to always allow time for one reply. But because my posting time is very limited? My personal rule, for years, is not to get into extended back and forth exchanges. So gotta leave it there.

All the best,
