But his base will use it to glorify him.

Now maybe it is different this time. Maybe not. But it is foolish the expect that suddenly Kim will fold.


Kim will structure the deal such that he gives up his nukes in 10-15 years when NK has developed a much more modern economy than they have today. He might agree to allowing inspectors to keep tabs on them between now and then, but he won't give them up before (or at all) NK is a very different country than it is now.
