That's pretty much a twisted observation. The U.S. defense shield in Canada as much protects Canada from the indirect consequences of a nuclear strike on Seattle, Chicago, NYC, and other points where blast damage and radiation exposure would not be limited exclusively to the U.S., to say nothing of the calamitous economic "fallout" to your country and the rest of the world from destruction of U.S. cities.

So, as one for the other side of your border, I have to say, "Thank you, Canada, for participating in our mutual self defense". We have a great relationship, despite some recent hard feelings related to tariffs.
