Partick,

Thanks, I think I might dip into a OEX put based on this, nothing too pricy just to test the theory..

Anyone else daring today?? :}

Patrick,

Another theory that has worked many times is days of the week trading.
Simple:

Short wednesday close, long friday close, always in.

Tested from 11/1/95 to present in captures 5491.60 dow points as opposed to 2965.45 with buy and hold. 218 trades.

Playing around with stops (for a couple minutes) gets another 4-5%.

Will I trade it. Nah, well hmmm.... :)

Take care.
