Bill, do you honestly believe there is a difference between the shoes people of any race prefer? Your comments sound a bit racist to me, and if an official of Vans Inc. had made the same comments you have made here, you would see your stock price tumble from 14 to around 3/4. My real reason for posting here, is to say that an analyst on CNBC was asked today what he thought would be a good domestic stock to invest in for 1998, one which is not influenced by the Asian Markets, and his reply was VANS. I did some homework on this stock, and I agree that this may be a hidden jewel for the coming year. I took a small position today. He also mentioned Citizens national Bank of Texas as a possibility, but those financial stocks don't agree with me. Good luck everyone.
