Because ZTE gave American technology to Iran and NK and because their phones can be used to spy on American users (why the Defense Dept banned them from military bases). And I'm pro-American. Now why the hell would anyone who cares about America NOT want ZTE banned from the US market? I can think of only one reason ... the Chinese govt has bribed the POTUS with financing for one of his projects and his Cult puts the Cult Leader's interest before the national interest. Can you think of any other reason? Why do YOU want ZTE released from sanctions? -------------------- I haven't heard about Huawei being released from sanctions. Perhaps ZTE is more valuable to Chinese intelligence than Huawei.
