Thanks for your response---I'll have to look at the contexts---seems to be somewhat metephorical at first glance!?
Now another one for all resident Theologians-
Since my wife had her close scrape with death and since we are getting older all the time, it naturally is on our minds to prepare for burial.
The Question: Is cremation acceptable to God? Or---is that a pagan rite?
I note that they carried the bones of people from one place to another in scripture. Any significance to that?
I talked to a person on the phone the other day that said it only cost him $325. to cremeate his father after he died. In contrast, a normal burial (depending on casket) costs in the thousands of dollars and that does seem like poor stewardship to me.
