Maybe, but the trigger was a finding he'd communicated with future witnesses about their testimony. Witness tampering. It's been reported he used something they call foldering ... in an email account, he drafted emails that were never sent, only saved as drafts. The password to the email account was shared with the potential witness who went to the email account, opened the drafts, read them, then deleted. No record of the communication created, right? Wrong.
