Larry -
I do understand the whining. From a .60 qtr to a couple losses is enough to make anyone say HUH!

Sure, go ahead and say HUH or whine, and I won't begin to question you. Start talking about hating the stock and the company (without mentioning anything specific that might have contributed to your feelings), and I'll probably wonder a little about your emotional state.

What's the latest on the CEO hunt?

Sorry, you're asking the wrong person.

Does SGI expect to penetrate existing SUNW partnerships, (not likely) or is marketing going after new customers?

Actually, I've heard several stories recently about SGI sales people selling into what had previously been all-Sun shops, and beating out current Sun products to do it. Typically, these weren't one-off desktop deals, either. That's not to say that marketing isn't going after new customers, though.

A big challenge, the way I see it, is to get SGI onto the short list of companies that IS managers and purchasing people think of when they need new hardware. Previously, we all heard the 'But they're a gfx. company' thing, but now I think we're making this 'short list' more often than not.

Personally I'd offer my free employment if I though it could contribute.

Bucking for that CEO job, eh, Larry?
