Hi Larry-

I videotape CNBC for about 4 hours every day and then fast forward thru at nite to keep up with whats happening. Just happened to catch the interview and transcribed it.

I feel that both things are happening. Silver supplies are certainly getting tight with all the yearly deficits and speculators are taking inventory off the market. But what's the big deal, why not investigate the gold market where the big manipulation is happening.

Speculators actually help a market by forcing up prices long before stocks are near dangerous levels. With higher prices, more silver production will be able to come on line. With most silver being a by product of related mining, the market needs about a 2 to 5 year leeway to keep some sort of an equilibrium.
