The answer was no. The admin. is just waiting for word of mouth to do the job, as the separated moms and kids stack up.. That's not only cruel; it's dumb. What are we going to do with all those people? Assuming one is serious about keeping people out, and I do believe that the administration is, then disincentives are helpful. I can see wanting to disabuse the campesinos of the notion from a couple of years back that bringing kids with you gets more favorable treatment. But then you would advertise it loudly, then reinforce it with some action like what's going on now to show you're serious. That could be rationalized. But just springing it on them, not at all.
