Not at all wimpy. As he explained in his blog, the RRR was a west coast phenomenon while out east the big chill was on, winter after winter.

As you might know during the last glaciation it was New York buried in ice, not Los Angeles. Heck, even Alaska was not deep in glacial ice.

He didn't mention The Beast From The East which covered Europe including jolly olde Englande in snow last winter.

My October 2007 2020 foresight prediction was for 1919 and 2020 rather than 2017 winter which I expected to be merely cool.

So be patient for another couple of years. We have waited 10.5 years so another couple of years isn't much.

Keep in mind that modern scientific points of view and nomenclature don't change reality, they just better describe it. So, for example, The Dust Bowl back then was just a long period of hot dry weather. Weather just happened. Now the mechanism of it can be observed and described very well with eyes in the skies and measurements everywhere.

The Dust Bowl was likely just a garden variety RRR but without the satellite measurement.

The scientific ability doesn't change the weather though. In 2020 the scientific term "Bloody Hell! That's a lot of snow" will become commonly known as the climate changes.
