Well, he is the great negotiator. He may have said he wants e-verification but I no longer believe him. He should be arguing for it publicly - the powerful bully pulpit - instead of just always whining that it is the fault of democrats. The illusion of him being the master of the deal is disappearing rapidly.

Researching what Trump says on any issue is a waste of time because you'll find junk. He doesn't believe in anything. Everything he says and does is about getting headlines. Get past that and he's clueless.

Today Trump's favors putting kids with parents. Yesterday he was against it. Researching what he says on this issue or any issue will give you what you want to hear since it's both sides.
