Hi James, I use 3 brokerage houses, A discount here in Minneapolis, Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter Morgan Stanley. I have done business with ML and DW for years and have a good price on commissions. When I go short I always use ML since they are big enough and I have very little risk of a call on my shorts. I have a very bright broker at DW, Wharton graduate and has helped me make a fair amount to money over time.

As far as penny stocks I generally buy them through ML since the MM's seem to worry about filling buys and sells from their desk. Maybe I have a incorrect perception here with ML.<ggg>
