A few hundred years ago most people were knuckle-draggers. Knowledge changed that to a large degree. So the problem may be a simple matter of education although there does seem to be some sort of weird resistance to learning among many people who fight it every step of the way. As I have mentioned, I credit my boy hood friend Bobby Herr with saving me from a life of ignorance. I met him when I was about 9 and we were best friends for 10 years. He read day and night and got me into it and he knew so much more than I did. But II was never jealous of him, I loved being around him and asking questions which i did a lot. He explained the difference between Lamarkian and Darwinian evolution to me when we were about 13-lol. But I did get it until college. He went on to Berkely, was editor of bolt law review and became a famous lawyer who did the San Francisco giants deal and he was very honest and decent. Without him mentoring me for so long my life would have been much different. His mother was a little old German women who brought us milk and ginger snaps when we would spend the afternoon reading, he on one bed and me on another. <,Message #78774 from zzpat at 6/21/2018 1:43:40 PM After the parents are put in prison they kids will be left alone again. Republicans are cruel and evil people. We need to tell them this over and over until they grow an ounce of humanity. Though, I have to admit I think they're already a knuckle-dragging subspecies.
