Paul, Foster Freess Sours on tech stocks. Points to Asian turmoil. Pulls Brandywine Fund out of tech stocks. Decent Intel earnings but more sellers than buyers again today. The PE is colapsing becasue future growth potential is being revised downword. New growth target guess is 15% so pe should be no more than 15. The stock works it's way lower. Here is the investment proposition Spend 75.00 for $4.00 in earnings, thats 5% yield. Take the volitility risk, Asian turmoil, Risk that merced may be late or bugged up, or buy Bonds at $5.75 which might drop to 5% and yiled you 12% vertualy risk free. Lets look at AMD to yield 5% AMD would have to post .90. Assume the risk of the yield problems .25 conversion, Asian turmoil... Intel price cuts. Stock price is too high. Goes to 15, and waites for a profit to appear.

Paul,

What Jerry did say was that there was less wet etching steps in the CS44E (0.25 process) therefore it should have higher yields than their current process. The comment comes in the Q&A session.

Robert
