Whether your $1 example or the rumor on another thread of $1 million is correct is irrelevant, I think. This lawsuit was about accountability. This lawsuit said you can't libel and defame a company PERIOD, whether on the internet or "in an elevator". I personally hope that Mr. McDaniel at least settled for legal fees, since that's an expense I would rather we shareholders not have to fund but I understand that when a settlement is "sealed", neither party is at liberty to discuss the details so I suspect we will never know. The fact that the company said the lawsuit "was settled in the Companys favor" is enough for me to consider Mr. McDaniel's actions successful. I would not expect to see Hollingsworth on CNBC ever again telling the viewers that the company "should be shot" any more than I would expect to see Ivan on the Internet calling longs "suckers" for investing in Presstek's stock. Winning is not always about money! Just my humble opinion....... Nanny

Pierre, You are not the first to warn me about my attitude getting me in trouble. My father has passed on and your tone leaves me with fond memories.<ggg> Clearly the use of the description "unsophisticated idiots" is your own. I do not want this to turn into a P----ng contest. I do not know any details regarding settlement of SEC suit. Thank you for posting the info on the Howtek consent decree. It does make one scratch ones head. Things that make ya go hmmm. SG
