Randy,
Maxtor and Fujitsu are considered quality drives? Really? I don't have reliability numbers either. Humm. So then hard drives are really a comodity; i.e., there's no real difference between them.

I'm not challenging your comments, just surprised. Thanks for the feedback.

Just an idea: Maybe on ZDNet they have reports on qualitiy of HDD manufactures? I unfortunately have no time now to go and take a look.
