BC, How do you "turn them back" 30 miles inside the border? Same way Obama turned them back. Round them up, bus them back, fly them back, do whatever we've been doing to deport them. The change in policy with "zero tolerance" is that every single illegal immigrant is criminally prosecuted. That adds additional load to the bureaucracy and leads to the current mess we're seeing, with families separated and the federal government having to care for these children. And of course, the federal government is terrible at taking care of children. Tenchusatsu
