There is a big difference between not investing in a company because it does not look like a good investment and one that you dont invest in because it is a scam. Ron feels the latter here.

For me it kind of requires me to scream out look out for this one it'll get you if you aren't careful. Kind of like flashing your lights at oncoming traffic to warn them of a speed trap ahead.

Bob, fine if you believe in those warning signs it makes common sense to say your pitch and leave.

And it "makes common sense" to refute dubious assertions so long as they continue to be made.

If I felt that way about a company that I had no investment in, I would not follow them anymore.

That's you. That's not everybody.

Some people feel compelled to fight such things for as long as they see them happening.

It makes absolutely no sense to make your life following a company which you don't like.

So, are you saying that the "nays" do nothing else in life or even in the stock market except participate in such threads? If so, you'd be mistaken. Some people type quite quickly and can have 10 or more messages per day take but a small fraction of their available time.

Unless of course, you really do have a hidden agenda which you don't care to make known.

Such as?

Keep in mind that the same can be said of the other side of the fence.
