What really needs to be addressed are the conditions in Central America

What would you see as the US role in that? Do we have a legitimate play? We had success earlier with NAFTA, which strengthened Mexico thus reducing economic migration, but that success now faces some jeopardy.

Except, we're crap at nation-building. Our only success has been Japan, and we had to nuke them..
