OK, gang ... this is it. Y2K finally made the big time.

In today's issue of Sedona's "Red Rock News", our twice-weekly newspaper ... on page one of the two page business section, is an article on the Year 2000 problem and how it will affect the Village of Oak Creek (VOC). VOC is a small town a few miles from Sedona that Sedona residents call the "village".

According to the article, it's estimated that the problem will cost $10 billion world-wide to fix. The association of vendors in VOC estimate that it will cost them 3 to 5 thousand dollars to become Y2K compliant. They tested their computer by changing the date to 12/31/99, let it run across 'midnight', and it froze.

Imagine that ... a Y2K bug. Right here within sight of FBN's World Headquarters building (from the top floor). And to think we went out of our way to fix that Apple II in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Mobilize the troops, gang. We've got another crisis on our hands.
