represents the GOP, which claims to be the party of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Per the Constitution, all US persons, that is, all citizens and anyone else on US soil, are entitled to due process.

I don't know what due process entails in this case nor am I inclined to research it, but whatever it turns out to be, seems to me that we should all be supporting it, not dismissing it as beneath Trump's holy bother.



My point is that someone here illegally is not the same as someone here lawfully. Immigrants who invest hundreds of thousands of USD buying a business in the US and hiring 5 or more Americans to get a Green card after many years in accordance with US laws should not be treated the same as someone breaking US laws by being here.
