That isn't what you said. You said they were voters are soon as they set foot in the country. Did you lie?

Regardless, they have to establish citizenship. Which takes time. If they ever even apply, which almost none of them ever do.

Giving them a path to citizenship is a smart thing. That will make no difference to the Republican party which has decided they are the party of old, white people. Even without those immigrants becoming citizens, the party is doomed. You can already see that because the Democrats usually get more votes in national elections. If it weren't for gerrymandering and other voter suppression techniques, the Republicans would hold few national offices. Demographics, like karma is a bitch with a wicked sense of humor.

If (R)'s didn't treat them like lepers, Hispanics are natural conservative Republicans. They are very religious, believe in the rights of the unborn, have actual strong family values and work like dogs to get ahead. They make GREAT Americans, and are the kind of people we WANT to come here.

So, thanks for the gift of the Hispanic vote! But, that was Republicans pre-Trump.
