Most of American urban centers are very diverse and much more progressive and open to "people are just people" the people who live in small non-diverse areas tend to be very closed minded and small minded, especially when listening to right wing talk radio and Trump state TV even Dallas TX is fairly progressive, and it's a red state... but if one has to drive from Dallas east or west you will run into some very "shit-hole" areas This is America... where cows have more votes than people... nothing against cows BTW, I think I would trust their vote over gerrymandered republicons
