DLJ Semi-Watch for Jan 9: Pick of the Week: CYMI
"0.25 micron means DUV and DUV requires excimer lasers. We
feel that Cymer is the best and most well-positioned for the move
to DUV and rate Cymer shares as a buy with a one year price
target of $33 based on roughly 28x our 1998 EPS estimate of
$1.18."

The Micrascan II will do .25 with a bulb, but probably no smaller. I would think that any new equipment purchasers would want to open the door to smaller lines, so it is reasonable to assume that most new stuff will be laser based.
